Hello everyone!
Finally, we opened the registration for our Student Symposium on Molecular Medicine in Tübingen. With the title *“Double Helix – Double Talk! Illuminating Truth in an Era of Misinformation“* we are happy to welcome you to the University of Tübingen from Friday, May 9th to Saturday, May 10th, 2025.

We’ve put together a thrilling and diverse program packed with opportunities to learn, network and have fun!
On Saturday, you`ll be able to follow along several talks diving deeper into the dangers of misinformation and manipulation in science. Renowned speakers from Germany, Switzerland and Austria will give you an enlightening insight into their research and will sharpen your eye in regard to the critical handling of “scientific information”.
As this topic is highly controversial, we will wrap up the program with a thought-provoking panel discussion, exploring the role of science in a world filled with fake news.
In between these talks we provide drinks and snacks including coffee and cake and you can choose to order lunch now.
Moreover, we have secured a certain number of beds in the youth hostel Tübingen. If you choose to stay there, please register before March 18th, 6 pm.
Additionally, we offer a variety of workshops on Friday – practical or theoretical. Registration for these will open a few weeks before the symposium. Stay tuned!
Of course, the weekend’s experience is not limited to the world of academia: If you want to join the bar tour through the beautiful old town of Tübingen on Friday or party with us in the club “Schwarzes Schaf” on Saturday, just tick the boxes in the registration form!
If you have any questions, please reach out to us via instagram or email at molmed.symposium25@gmail.com
We are looking forward to lively discussions and a great time to connect with each other!
See you soon!
